Save our eagles!

On the news June 8th 2022, the news broke! The norwegian goverment considering shooting down our protected eagles, both white tale eagle and golden eagle! I went in shock!

Not only will the goverment eliminate all norwegian predators, such as wolfs, bears, lynx and wolverines, now they also consider going after the eagles!

Save this majestic bird! the norwegian goverment is on the verge of starting to shoot down this fantastic birds due to loss of life-stock, reineer calfs and newborn sheeps.

It is not allowed to hunt eagles in Norway and has been protected sins 1968, both the white tale eagle (havørn) and the golden eagle (kongeørn) was nearly extinct after centuries of hunting. After over 50 yrs, the eagle population is not threatened, but it has taken so many years! about 40 to recover!

It is true that the golden eagle will take some reindeer calfs, and young sheeps. That is the way of nature!

The norwegian life-stock has been so protected for so many years, that they dont have their natural instincts of escape from predators.

There will be loss of life-stock, but over many years the instincts will slowly recover, and the losses will decrease. The gouverment must help farmers and reindeer herders to cover the losses!

Nature must rewild! after hundreds of years of wrongdoing by us humans, on behalf of wildlife!
